The Spartans got off to a winning start in 2013, shutting out the Sacramento State Hornets 24-0. Yes, it is only Sac State, but a win is a win. Quarterback David Fales completed 50% of his passes on his way to a 200 plus passing yard night. His favorite target was Wideout Chandler Jones, who had 8 receptions and over 100 yards receiving.
